Scoil Rince McLeod

presented “Trebel Reel,” an exciting and modern spectacle using the mesmerizing, quick, and rhythmical beats of traditional Irish step dancing.

Scoil Rince McLeod is a new Irish dance school based in Southern California ran by accredited Irish dance teachers Ian McLeod (TCRG) and Daithi Fisher (TCRG). Ian McLeod started Irish dancing at the age of 5 and received many solo dancing awards, including four time Western Regional Champion, two time Ulster Champion, All Scotland Champion, top five at the All Ireland Championship, top two at the Great Britain Championships, top 5 at the North American National Championships. In 2011 Ian achieved his dream of competitive Irish Dance when he was placed 4th at Irish Dance World Championships in Dublin Ireland.

Daithi Fisher started dancing at the age of four. He went on to win Three Ulster titles, North American National Championship title, Irish National Title, All Ireland Title and placed as high as 2nd at the World Championships, narrowly missing first place by 10 points. Additionally He placed top 2 at all the other Major competitions i.e. All Scotlands and Great Britain’s.
